If you or your child are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or having difficulty coping with emotions, relationships, or life transitions, therapy can be a helpful place to explore support. You don’t need to be in crisis to begin therapy

The first session focuses on getting to know you (or your child), understanding what brings you in, and discussing goals for therapy. It’s a low-pressure space to ask questions and begin building trust.

This depends on the child’s age, needs, and goals. For younger children, parent involvement is often important. With teens, sessions are typically individual, with parent check-ins as appropriate.

Yes. I offer in-person and virtual therapy depending on availability and client preference.

The Connection Corner is an out-of-network practice. I can provide a superbill upon request for clients who wish to seek reimbursement through their insurance.

I ask for 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. More details can be found in the practice policies.

The length of therapy varies depending on goals and needs. Some clients benefit from short-term support, while others prefer ongoing therapy.

Yes. Therapy is confidential, with exceptions required by law (such as safety concerns). I will always review confidentiality and its limits during the intake process.

Absolutely. I am committed to providing affirming, respectful care for LGBTQ+ clients and neurodivergent individuals and families.

Most clients attend therapy weekly or biweekly. We will work together to determine what feels most supportive.
